Eligibility & Qualifications (Including Membership Requirements)
Must be a current member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) (1-year) *Note: Student Associate membership does not count toward the 1 yr.
To join ACHE: ACHE: Become a Member
A Master’s or other post-baccalaureate degree.
Currently hold an executive-level healthcare management position.
Minimum of five years of healthcare management experience.
Meet 36 education credits and 4 community service activities. Further details are available on the ACHE website.

Target Audience & Who Should Pursue Certification
Professionals at any phase of their career can pursue the FACHE. (However, I recommend at MINIMUM of 7 years of experience before attempting the exam.)
The target audience is more so mid-careerists looking to set themselves apart, and those who have made an unwavering commitment to the public service of healthcare administration and wish to acknowledge this formally.
Target market - individuals who are approved by the ACHE national to sit for the board of governors exam and are ready to begin their study period. Individuals who plan to take the test“cold” without any preparation are not in the target audience.
Individuals who are not approved but are strongly considering moving forward with the process are considered “top of the funnel” to begin engaging with Atteign
